What is the Importance and significance of Law in a Society or state? The law is important because it acts as a guiding force to regulate a society and create acceptance in society as supreme over all. Without its acceptance, there would be disharmony, clashes and anarchy among various communities, tribes, and individuals. It is essential for all inhabitants of state to follow it in letter and spirit irrespective of race, creed, colour, origin, and religion. The force of Law keeps the people managing properly and harmoniously. Without enforcement of law, there would be a disorder, anarchy in any society and it would be survival of the fittest for all.
