What is the Importance and significance of Law in a Society or state? The law is important because it acts as a guiding force to regulate a society and create acceptance in society as supreme over all. Without its acceptance, there would be disharmony, clashes and anarchy among various communities, tribes, and individuals. It is essential for all inhabitants of state to follow it in letter and spirit irrespective of race, creed, colour, origin, and religion. The force of Law keeps the people managing properly and harmoniously. Without enforcement of law, there would be a disorder, anarchy in any society and it would be survival of the fittest for all. The law is important and pivotal because it is adoptable, prime agent of modernization, acts as a guideline as to what is accepted in society and social change. Without existence of law there would be clash and conflicts among various communities, and religious people. Law is an effectual medium instrumental in bringing about change in social values, religious beliefs, political concepts and economic structure in any state of world. Law directly impact on society and its entire systems. It regulates politics, economics and social etiquettes in society in numerous ways and serves as a social mediator of relations among different people. Law has brought about desirable changes in social life, political institution and patterns of the society. Law directly interacts and impact on society and its systems. Law is a system of rules and guidelines which are enforced through social institutions to govern behaviour. Law has forced the people to act in proper way and taught respect for others rights and obligation. Law certainly has acted as a catalyst in the process of social transformation and alteration of society, values and beliefs, and its economic, political and social dimensions. It is also an indicator of the nature of societal complexity, unification, collective collaboration and sense of obedience. Law abolishes the abhorable and detestable practices and social evils from the society. The history is replete with facts that any sociry or state obeyed the prescriptions and tents of Law progressed in the world and commanded respect in the comity of nations. These states became military power and economic powers of World. All religions has told the veracity that giver is more superior than receiver. Law abiding people and states are ruling the world since centuries. States and people deviated from the real spirit of law subjugated to other states and people.
