   FACTORS AND CAUSES THAT COLLAPSED THE INTERNATIONAL SYSTEM DURING WORLD WARS.   The working of the pre-war international system was anarchic, chaotic, and unholy. Its salient features created a strategic situation in which war was inevitable. There were many factors and causes, which contributed to the collapse of the International System. The main factors were Natural, Nationalist, and Freedom Movements against European in the world, and the emergence of new Ideologies.   PRE WORLD WAR 1 & 11 INTERNATIONAL SYSTEM IN THE WORLD After the defeat of Napoleon in 1815 at Waterloo , the European States were successful in registering peaceful development up to 1914. However, the outbreak of the First World War in 1914 inflicted a mortal blow upon the development registered during these 100 years. From 1815-to 1914, the international system developed as a European-dominated system or at least as a Euro-centric system. England , France , Germany , Spain , Italy , Austria , and Turkey remained dominant European states and acted as key actors of the international system. Balance of power, Nationalism, European imperialism, and Militarism continued to be the salient features of this Euro-Centric International system.   Historical developmental stages of International Relations in the World. The Western scholars described multifarious stages of development of IR considering their affiliation and circumstances. Contrary to western scholars, I present the development of IR in two stages.
